Broken visualization settings

After a few actions the visualizations settings can get broken.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Upload dataset, open GPT twice, make sure you are using windows and not tabs
2. Test visualization settings in both windows, should still work.
3. Switch in the left window from GPT to Basic Tree.
4. Try to change the visualization settings in the left window, should not work. Right still works.

So for all but the first visualization, the settings don't work. Note that you can reproduce this with all visualizations with settings, not just GPT and Basic Tree also in step 3 you can also use the right window.
